No. Accounts created with Continue with Google do not need this step.

After you create an account with email and password, Langsly sends a verification email. Open the link in it, then log in.

After you select Create account, look for the message Check your inbox for a verification email before logging in.
Open the email from Langsly and select the verification link.
When you see Your email has been verified. You can log in now., select Log in.
If the email has not arrived, check your spam folder, then select Resend email or Resend verification on the log in page.
If the link says it is invalid or expired, request a new one with Resend verification.
