How do I delete my account and data?
Open Profile > Settings and select Delete my account. Deletion is immediate and permanent, and if you teach, your classes and the lessons you created are deleted too.
How to do it
- Sign in, open your Profile, and choose the Settings tab.
- In the Delete account card, select Delete my account.
- Type your username to confirm, then select Delete permanently.
- Langsly signs you out and removes your account, sign-in identity, learning progress, and associated data.
- If you cannot sign in, email [email protected] from the address on your account with the subject Langsly account deletion request.
Frequently asked questions
- What happens to my classes?
- Your classes, their assignments, and the lessons you created are deleted. Student accounts remain, but students lose access to those classes.
- Can I undo a deletion?
- No. There is no grace period or undo.
- Can I ask Langsly to delete a student’s data?
- Teachers cannot delete student accounts in the app. Parents, guardians, teachers, and schools can email [email protected] to request deletion of student information.
